I didn't watch a lot of television or movies growing up; instead, I buried my head in books, wrote plays, and drew - I was definitely someone you'd call a bit "bookish". With a world-traveling mom and a former DJ for a dad, it was destiny to have a creative background. 

I found my way into the Fashion Design program at Stephens College and an internship at COSMOgirl! Magazine in New York. There I learned several things: how to run a shoot, organize castings, make sense of a fashion closet and that I preferred the graphics department to anything else. From there it's an interesting history, which includes five internships and 3 years abroad working freelance. 

I am now based in Kansas City. Working both in an in-house capacity as well as freelance, I've honed my skills as a designer, art director and brand manager, and have also planned and directed several nationwide corporate and product photography shoots.

While my daily bread is design, I am capable and adept in client interaction, project management, budget planning, promotion planning and production. I work diligently to keep work fresh, ever-improving and focused on the goal.
